I read. A lot. In January, a friend proposed a challenge: read 100 books in a single calendar year. As of today, I've read 81. I began this year by telling myself that if I was going to do this, I had to get it done by August. At the time, I was working about 20 hours a week, and had just graduated with my B.A. in Literature. As of right now, I have a little over two months before I begin graduate school for Library and Information Science.
This blog will be used to catalog the final 19 books I read for this challenge, and everything else I encounter along the way. And I read everything - from thrillers (not so many of those), mysteries (again, not so much), fantasy, science fiction, paranormal, urban fantasy, mythology, history, historical fiction, fiction in general, nonfiction - you name it, I've read at least one book in the general subject heading. I love historical fiction and science fiction and anything based in mythology. Recently, I began reading - mostly because they were free on my kindle - romances. I'm still not sure what to think of them, but all thoughts in that direction as well as any others my reading my lead me will be documented here. Rants, raves and everything that falls in-between.
Happy reading!
